About DOO Foundation
The David Okai Okantey Foundation was founded by Dr. Peter Carlos Nii Okaikwei Okantey in honour of his father David Okai Okantey of Madina and the Okaileytse We (family house) for the life he has led as a Christian, lay preacher, father, grandfather and working professional.
David was born on 11th May, 1933 in Osu, Accra.
The David Okai Okantey Foundation provides scholarship and financial aid to brilliant but financially challenged students pursuing liberal arts and ethical leadership education with a focus on business, information technology and computer science in Africa.
