He is a staunch Christian just like his parents were. He was baptized at an early stage in the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Ebenezer congregation, Osu. He fellowshipped with them for 25 years and later converted to the Christianborg Baptist Church, Osu as a result of receiving supernatural healing through Rev. Floyd Kester of blessed memory. He worshipped and served as an elder, deacon and a lay preacher; constantly preaching for more than 15 years which took him to Liberia and Kenya.
His life’s principles are discipline, honesty, integrity and faith. He feels almost accomplished in his life because most of his prayers have been answered. His definition of a successful life is when you have walked with God and depended on Him consistently. He is satisfied with the life he has lived and would not change anything if he had a second chance at life.
His advice to any young person who is starting out in life is to “put their faith in God, do according to the teachings of the Bible and trust in God.
In his opinion, a good leader is someone who depends on GOD for guidance to lead his followers and listens to the followers and is always ready to serve. His greatest achievement is the success of bringing up his children in the fear of God.
In his youthful days his hobbies included studying the word of God, playing football and table tennis, and preaching.
His advice to any young person struggling in life and on the verge of giving up is to, first of all, have faith in God and have the fear of God and also keep themselves from bad company.
